Valcourt Insurance Services Acquired by Schweickert & Company

We are pleased to announce that Valcourt Insurance Services has become part of the Schweickert & Company family, effective May 10, 2008.

With the acquisition of the Valcourt business we also have added two extremely experienced and talented individuals to our staff.

Bob Tucker, the principal owner of Valcourt with over 20 years in the insurance business, has extensive experience in all areas of commercial insurance. As is the case with Schweickert & Company, Valcourt specialized in the medical malpractice and general healthcare insurance business. Bob brings a wealth of talent and experience to Schweickert & Company.

Rikki MacBarron has over 20 years in the insurance industry, many of those years with a large national brokerage firm. Rikki brings a complete knowledge of the commercial insurance business to Schweickert & Company and will manage many of our larger accounts. We are extremely fortunate to have her with the firm.

This is a major accomplishment for Schweickert & Company and we are delighted to be able to better serve our clients with the addition of new capabilities and the addition of these talented people.
